I have installed zygrib on my pc, but when I used to move the cursor over the map I could see the wave heights at the cursor location or see it when I opened a point of interest. Unfortunately it seems that this data is not available. When I download the data I make sure all wave selections in the download are checked.

It sounds like you may be encountering an issue with the data source or the settings in zyGrib. Please check the following:
Ensure that you are downloading the GRIB files with wave height data. Sometimes, data sources may not provide wave height information, so make sure the GRIB source you are using supports this data.
Double-check the settings in zyGrib to ensure wave height data is enabled for display. There might be an option or filter you need to configure correctly within the program.
Ensure that the downloaded GRIB files include wave data by verifying the file contents or consulting the documentation of the data provider.
Check if there's an update or patch for zyGrib that might address this specific issue, as bugs or changes in data formats can affect data visibility.
By ensuring these points, you may resolve the issue with wave height display in the software.
I have downloaded zyGrib with success on my Mac, but I tried on Mac Airbook and the installation was unsuccessful. I can't see the map in the background and cannot choose an area to download. A friend tried also on his Airbook and have the same problem.
Can you help?

It might be possible that your Macbook to run a different version of the OSX. It's known that Mac apps don't run the same as the Windows ones, meaning that sometimes you need to redevelop the app to run on newer versions of OSX.
I believe this is the case in your situation. Use the following link to access the latest versions. If your Macbook is running an older version then you have to compile it, and the Air should use the DMG file.
I am crossing oceans and I need a reliable weather forecast which will be downloaded to Iridium Go via satelite fast enough. It should not cost much.

On the Partner Products page I didn't find anything that mentioned ZyGrib, therefore I couldn't say precisely if the application is compatible with the Iridium GO application.
I've checked the ZyGrib application website and didn't find anything as well, which I tend to believe they're not compatible.

No, you do not need to download a wave browser to use zyGrib for Windows.
